-we're all adults here. if you work at ease you will feel not feel like it. you will get treated like an irresponsible child, even if your work quality is great and done on time. they will tell people not to read the bad reviews on google, that they're just angry drivers "and have nothing to do with the office." mm hmm. -culture isn't food trucks. it's support and care. it isn't tricks and lies to get people to work significantly more hours than 40 per week. pressuring new people not to take a lunch break so they don't "look bad" should tell you everything. -i got rear-ended and had severe back/neck pain. I was not allowed to leave to get x-rays for over a week. When i was finally allowed to leave on the last day insurance would accept my claim, I had to work 2.5+ hours late that night to make up my time. It was really not healthy and I still got yelled at for not doing enough the next day. -as a photographer i was reprimanded for trying to take a group picture on a special event day, because people weren't allowed to leave their phones for 1-3 minutes. I understand business concerns, but maybe loosen the reigns or you're going to lose the truly awesome people you say you want. "The disruptors" aren't actually welcome here - don't fall for the sales pitch. they will hate you - i tried to be inclusive but was told that wasn't important. I was not allowed to invite full team to the photo above, or write/share about LGBTQIA pride month. I was told to pipe down about asking for this. I even bought my own progress flag for the office and it got taken down multiple times for "cleaning" and I hung it back up. I didn't think much of it at first but the repeated patterns seemed like they weren't a coincidence. -so much lying > gaslighting. not sure if anyone trusts each other on the leadership level, all they do is talk crap about each other behind their backs -gossip central, watch your back. its like high school
