Pros
While this is still a young company (29 years old) I have never been apart of an organization that works with their people to raise them up if they have behaviors that need improvement, the DMs and SMs provide an immense amount of resources and support for you to get you where you want to go and I have seen some amazing people work their way "through the ranks" to be better at their career, transfer to more competitive stores, be internally promoted and all around BETTER THEIR LIVES. As retail goes, we do ask a bit more but not in the way you think, Earthbound asks for you to be kind and to connect with our guests, to train thoroughly and holistically, and to sell our products authentically. I have had 2 long term DM's and each were invested in my development, understanding when there were obstacles that were out of my control, and lent an ear when I was going through personal hardships. I have been around for almost 8 years with this company. I have seen policy and pay adjustments to be more comparable with industry trends. Also making diversity and inclusivity a priority down at the store level and in representation at the District Manager and Home Office level. I've seen some negative reviews on here and its unfortunate they don't have the same perspective I have. I have been in the workforce for almost 20 years. Thus far, (and I have had a decent amount of jobs) I haven't deemed a place fit for me to stay, until I found Earthbound. I most appreciate them hearing what everyone, down to a sales associate position, has to say and making changes that properly reflect the brand, the culture, and the way the industry is growing.
Cons
If you do not have passion for either the products or people in general, then this is not the retail job for you. Sometimes pay has been an issue but with the correct amount of data, sales, and reason they can adjust that.
