Pros
Occasionally there were fun people to work with, if your revenue was good you were treated OK. Other than that - none.
Cons
Think typical boiler-room recruitment set up. They hire consultants and pay them poorly but with the promise of great commission, set them up on a completely cold "desk" and start cracking the whip to hit your revenue targets. There is barely any branding, marketing or administrative support, so you may as well set up on your own. Existing consultants are extremely protective over their lucrative markets, leaving new consultants with scraps to fight over. No training is given, management style is bullying, and aggressive. Actual shouting matches happen in the office. The company lacks vision, direction and leadership. Very ruthless, they fire people as soon as they stop billing, particularly when the rest of the company isn't doing great.
