Cons
The leadership in the People department is disappointing. It’s frustrating to watch the CPO and Head of People Ops occupy high level roles without contributing anything meaningful to the company. Despite the challenges we face and our limited runway, it’s clear that these roles are more symbolic than functional. The CPO and Head of People Ops are rarely visible or communicative with employees. In a company where every role should add value, it’s disheartening to see individuals in such critical positions have little impact. It’s difficult not to feel like they’re a drain on resources at a time when we need lean, efficient leadership.
