EXOS Response

Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear that you were unhappy as a team member of EXOS. Just to respond to a few of your concerns - we do have robust recruiting team that supports all sites. If you were in a position to recruit for EXOS we offer training for hiring managers who need to learn our process. We also have dedicated HR team members supporting all locations that any employee can reach out to for questions or concerns. EXOS also rewards top performers with our EXOS Honors program - we have paid out over $100K (in just over 1 year) in bonuses to top performers so far. Managers or peers can nominate others for this program. We strive to have a strong company culture, however when you are based at a client-site (as you were) there is difficulty in working within the EXOS culture and also the client site culture. We continuously look for opportunities to improve site-based team members experience with the EXOS culture - which is why we help our first annual Performance Summit in September 2018. At this summit over 100 team members came together for 2 incredible days of teamwork and learning. We also do an annual engagement survey to provide us with information on the organizational health of each site and then work through action plans for the following year based on an aggregate, anonymous results. At many client sites we have piloted a leadership development program and have had it running for over 1 year now. We do expect this to improve the leadership abilities of all our managers.

Pros

Love the company culture and values. It’s fun to be apart of an innovative company in the health and fitness industry. 90% of the people I have worked with over the years are great people that really know their stuff.

Cons

For the health and fitness industry the benefits and schedules are great for full-time employees but the pay is sometimes a little low. Pay is sometimes based on the account contract and yearly raises are rare, but small increases do occur to help with the increased cost of living.
