Pros
- Good people work here, everyone cares about their work and performs at their best - Growing company that is being recognized as a top tier engineering firm in their field - Part of their success is the talent present within the group - If you stay late working they will partially compensate you for an order in dinner - Ping Pong table in the office - Recognition for successes - Support for when projects aren't going well
Cons
-They are attempting to grow at a unsustainable rate, processes are not in place, training is left to the individuals, grasping at everything they can get their hands on but don't take into account the path to get there or the stress it puts on their existing employees. -Up to individuals to ensure they remain "billable" throughout the week -Very inflexible work hours schedule (work 50+ hrs by Thursday, expects a full 8 on Friday) -Very inflexible PTO use, personal PTO to be used for sick time, PTO amount uncompetitive for the industry - No female engineers in management positions currently - Culture is becoming lost, expectation is that you are working on billable projects for a minimum of 40hrs in a week (haha 40hrs....). Any time that you spend communicating with coworkers, playing ping pong, or otherwise not actively "billable" is expected to be made up by staying late.
