Pros
They are willing to pay for any training if you get to know the platform better, they let you go to tech conferences and bosses are not really interested in work so there is not much stress or worry to not reach a due date
Cons
Once the company (Scalefast) was absorved by ESW (previosly eShopWorld) things started to go wrong. 50 people were fired, direction changed and started removing work from home (100% remote positions), stopped yearly salary reviews and that situation remained for almost a year and a half. The HR department was almost non-existent in Spain cause they were restrained by the parent company HR team located in Dublin, that rejected any type of improvement on employee quality of life. Apparently what the new company wanted was only Scalefast client portfolio, they fired most of the previous direction roles and forced remained employees to leave so they doesn't have to pay anything because you leave by your own will. Since the tech team is splitted between Dublin and Madrid the plans of the company is to keep the direction positions on Dublin while the manpower is located in Madrid making a very hard environment to grow or have a career path. Bosses with fear of change, lack of knowledge and poor social skills (I remember that the counteroffer the bosses did to me while I say I was leaving was "We can offer you a lot of trainings!" without any salary, work schedule or social compensation) In adition to that, those who were capable of obtaining stock options on Scalefast were scammed by fake promises that our stocks were going to be transfered to the ESW company but their legal team advise them in such a way employees get the least amount of stocks with the least benefit reaching almost an off-limit legal situation.
