They'll hire you, make you feel special, throw in some fillers like "collaboration", "people development", "open communication", "job security". Then the moment the project ends, so does your value. Suddenly you are no longer a team member, you're a "cost" they need to manage. They will strip away your motivation, put you on indefinite bench, remove your responsibilities. They will make you question why you're still showing up. If you manage to stay, they will make your life a living hell, well, until you walk away.
