Pros

Great team of coworkers and everyone pulling in the same direction.

Cons

Small company with often limited funds for reinvestment. Merger dismantled the business.

Pros

Small Company Flexible hours Competitive pay Few levels of red tape to get to decision makers. There are no "departments" that large decisions have to go through; those decisions are made by people with names. Upper management isn't afraid to get their hands dirty when critical issues arise. There are no ivory towers in this company. U.S. based customer service and tech support. Anyone in sales appreciates that fact.

Cons

Not as well-known as competitors' products. Glass Door says I need 20 words to fill this section...so....I guess another "con" would be that vending machine took my money once

Pros

Experience working with longer books (textbooks over 1,000 pages long); experience working with outside vendors; casual work environment; work from home one day a week is possible

Cons

Manager misled me about the job description and then acted highly unprofessional when I expressed my concerns about the requirements of the job after reading through their training materials; he eventually refused to approve my timesheet, giving the reason that I "did not work" there. The temp agency is still going to pay me, but I'm getting paid weeks after I should have been. My cubicle was dirty and dusty. The light did work. I was not given office supplies, and I could not find any when I looked, not even a pen to sign the necessary paperwork. Most of the overhead lights were turned off, so the office was incredibly dark. I read for a living, so this is a problem. Broken office equipment and furniture were just sitting out in the open, literally gathering dust. The furniture and decor hadn't been updated since the 70s or early 80s. I was willing to overlook all that until the manager's attitude took such a turn for the worse when I expressed my concerns about the position.
