Pros

In the beginning I was free to improve my department with much needed modernizations. You could generally freely manage your own time and being a full remote employee you had the necessary trust to do your job. The company retreat was amazing and an experience that stays with you. Unfortunately the whole company, the culture and the roadmap changed drastically soon after.

Cons

I can not recommend working in this toxic work environment. I got yelled at by my supervisor, talked down to and reprimanded over trying to do my job. They micro managed me when they did not seem to understand my job. I spoke up about issues, problematic behavior by other coworkers and by my supervisor, but only got dismissed and never helped afterwards. I also spoke up to management about problems which also got dismissed and ignored. I spoke up publicly about problematic behavior and about being dismissed and ignored, only to get verbally attacked and reprimanded in front of the whole company. General behavior by management and some employees is very bullying and frat house like. It feels like a systemic problem that is perpetuated by management instead of openly addressed and improved. Back to Office is being implemented, progressive changes reverted slowly but consistently.

Pros

1. Tasks and Learning curve: Startup as it should be. From day 1, I felt welcome and as a full-fledged team member. I quickly took on tasks and projects independently, but could also always ask someone for advice if necessary. My colleagues were happy to take the time to explain everything to me. I learned an extremely large amount in a short time. 2.Team & Transparency: There is a very good and fair relationship between the colleagues and departments. The team is very motivated and you can tell that everyone wants to bring E-FARM forward. Every month there is a company meeting where each department and the management reports on the developments of the last month. This way everybody knew what was going on. 3. culture: super team from over 10 nations. In the evenings, we often had a beer together or played table tennis in the office. Many of the colleagues spend their free time together

Cons

In a start-up company, improvisation is sometimes the order of the day, as some processes have yet to be developed
