Pros
I’ve been at DRL for several years, working with the smartest, most creative team who are literally reimagining the sports entertainment industry through cutting edge technology and building an entirely new sports property from scratch. They’ve given me opportunities of a lifetime, sending me around the world for our drone racing events that take place in palaces, museums and stadiums across the globe. The culture is amazing and inspiring – it’s all about innovation, collaboration and wild, out-of-the-box thinking. “Drone race in space? Let’s make it happen,” is an example of a conversation I’ve had with our CEO and Founder. And with our DRL HQ housing the only drone lab in NYC where our technologists hand-craft high-speed racing drones and invent proprietary technology, you get to learn from brilliant engineers (and of course fly drones around the office…) The leadership is amazing, approachable, and warm – they push for excellence and are invested in the team’s personal and professional growth. I love the company, and I feel constantly intellectually stimulated and genuinely excited about all of the disruptive things we are doing to transform sports competition, fan experiences, and content.
Cons
Fast paced environment where everyone is held to high standards, so if you are someone looking to coast at your next job, this is not the place for you
