Pros
It's a flexible job. The marketing team are a great group of people. Whoever has been around since the very beginning are truly amazing coworkers.
Cons
Since 2020, DRL has turned into a directionless, visionless, toxic environment that no body is happy to work for. Everyone is trying to jump ship as soon as they can to escape this sinking work place. They have successfully managed to turn this once thriving, creative and fun community into a cut-throat and frustrating experience complete with deplorable communication, agonizing deadlines that come out of thin air, terribly boring work that stifles creativity and destroys morale, and zero regard for your own voice or personality. It's a shame because before 2020, DRL felt like a fun and unique start-up where outside-the-box thinking was encouraged. It felt like we were all building something truly amazing. But that dream is dead for everyone still there. After years of painstakingly building the voice of DRL from nothing with my team, I was fired without explanation or a moments notice. They do not care about you. Management is only fueled by their fear of whoever is above them. If you are at all considering taking a job here, I strongly urge you to try somewhere else instead.
