work life balance, especially if you have kids is impossible
tax season hours are absolutely insane, 11 hour shifts are the norm, but you could be at the dealership 2 hours after close bc the process takes 3 hours, and you never get a full weekend or two days in a row off.
lunch doesn't exist. you might get 5 minutes to scarf down fast food in the break room.
no formal training at all. you have to hope you have good mentors in the dealership youre hired.
promotions - I have 2 ssa's in my dealership and another sa that turned down ssa because he has to stay local. being promoted is only an option for those willing to move just about anywhere, especially at the sales manager level.
antiquated technology and my location is run down.
in the end this is simply not a company for those with family. awesome opportunity for someone fresh out of college who is good with people and motivated, you could be a GM in no time if you're willing to relocate.
