Pros

The people were fun. I'm college-aged and a lot of them are right around that range or just a bit older. So hanging out with people my age was pretty cool. Learned a few leadership techniques that I took to my current job when I left. And definitely learned how to be more assertive in my day to day life so that's a plus too I guess?

Cons

Definitely was promised more than I got. Was told I would almost definitely be promoted within two weeks of starting when not a single person was promoted the entire three months I worked there. Even the leaders often didn't make the required weekly quota for the newbie promotion. I was lucky enough to be living with family as many employees (again even the leaders) struggled to pay rent and some lived out of their cars for more than a few weeks. Turnover was high and suspicious as hell. People would just disappear and we weren't supposed to ask about them or talk about it. It was like a damn serial killer was picking us off one by one. They go on and on about having a positive attitude but the atmosphere there is so stressful if you have a bad day or do something slightly wrong. Employees received tickets from police officers from soliciting and one was out with the assistant manager who then LIED to the officer who confronted them for soliciting in a no soliciting area. I often felt super uncomfortable in these areas and asked if they were okay to go into and I was told they were. And being 21 and gullible I bought it. It wasn't until my last week I learned about the ticketing, and had a run in with a door to door insurance guy who let me know that unless I had a specific piece of paper with me in person I didn't in fact have a permit to be there like I was led to believe. Basically was promised the moon and the stars, was instead given a position with cool people but long hours, a sometimes overwhelmingly intense environment, and basically broke the law multiple times a week. When I first started, my family jokes that i had joined a cult (given that I was gullible as hell and was so gung-ho about it for the first few months.) and it took a major wake up call to realize that I had basically been brainwashed. Thankfully I got out before any permanent damage occurred in my life or relationships, unlike some of my coworkers who gave up everything for this job and were kicked to the curb.

Pros

I've worked at a lot of places before working at Drive, and I can confidently say that no other company has offered the rewards and satisfaction this company has to offer. Not only is it a fun and friendly place to work at, there are career and business opportunities only this company has to offer. Unlike any other job I have ever had, I look forward to waking up every day and coming into work and interacting with colleagues and clients. I would recommend this job to anyone with a strong work ethic and looking to better their life

Cons

The cons are few and far between. At first the hours and effort seem to be a bit more than most companies but the rewards from the time and energy are more than worth it
