Pros

It seems like a great time to get in with the company.. if you want to get into sales and cold calling and LOVE challenging yourself with putting in 10 hour work days and are hungry to be the best.. it’ll pay off here and you’ll fit in great!

Cons

If you’re somebody who needs to balance something like your mental well-being or just a work life balance in general this may not be for you. It wasn’t for me. They have a “be your best self” mentality and to them that means make x amount of sales in x amount of time and we drink at work to celebrate. So if in your free time you like to do things to actually improve yourself like workout, meditate, read something that isn’t their homework.. or if you don’t drink, it may not be a right fit.

Thank you for your feedback! I realize your tenure was only a few days which doesn't allow for much time to see our culture but hopefully you got to experience some aspects of how we operate. Sales is extremely hard and we take pride in developing our employees for those who choose to pursue it as a career while creating an environment that celebrates these moments. You are correct that it is not for everyone. It requires commitment, hard work, perseverance and laser focus and since I meet every new hire you heard that from me on your first day at Doctible along with our training manager. I wanted to clarify couple of items: a. Hours: Our current schedule was voted in by employees and we talk about it during the interview process. We work more Monday-Thursday (with plenty of opportunities to leave early as you start unlocking perks) so that we can get done at 1pm on Fridays. No one is expected to work after hours or weekends and we care about work-life balance. b. "Be your best self" mentality: I certainly think that is important to have this mindset to be successful because the job is hard so we have to be positive in order to inspire the people around us. Realizing that people do have tough days/weeks, our managers are there for support and to ensure you are not doing this by yourself and help you get past these peaks and valleys. c. Drink at work: This was at the request of our employees that we celebrate wins. So if we do hit our weekly goals, we crack open a can of beer (or white claw sometimes) right before closing the doors at 1pm on Friday. I am fine with that since no one is obligated to drink. I wish you the best for your future endeavors and thanks again for the feedback.
