Pros

There are a ton of different marketing companies and more every day, it seems. I'd have to say that DAP is my favorite so far. First, while my co-workers are all very friendly, I'm not forced to play Two Truths And a Lie every week for 30 minutes. You don't need to facilitate forced bonding when the people you work with just get along and are friendly. My manager cares a lot about burnout which is nice. If she sees my Harvest running beyond 8 hours, she will message me on Slack to log off and rest. The same goes for working on weekends—she is very protective of my time. I appreciate how direct everyone is. Nothing gets lost in the corporate double-speak, and expectations are clear and achievable. I feel like my efforts are actually appreciated, which is pretty different from other firms I've been with. If you need help, you're encouraged to ask and people will set aside time to help you. The compensation is excellent and I've also never had such good insurance before, which is awesome. Lots of room for advancement and ability to grow. And people actually stay at DAP to grow since it's a supportive environment. I'm relieved to be out of the toxic tech fraternity bubbles.

Cons

The standards are high but at the rate I'm paid, I think the standards make sense. Learning to use Harvest and Asana as they do it can be a learning curve but this is also the only job I've had with an actual onboarding period. Lots of cat people.

Pros

DAP has a unique culture where people genuinely care about each other and clients. Some of the top minds in their fields work here, and collaboration is encouraged across the board. Unbiased tools showcase hard workers, meaning that you are considered fairly for promotions, and if you work hard and are passionate about your job, you'll be granted the respect you deserve.

Cons

This is a fast-paced environment, which isn't suited to everyone. Expect rapid changes and tight deadlines. The DAP culture is also best suited to people who can work independently.

Pros

I'm coming up on three years at Digital Authority Partners, and I can honestly say this has been the most transformative period of my career. When I joined, I knew digital marketing was a cut-throat industry. What I didn't know was how much of a difference it makes to have leadership that genuinely has your back.

Cons

I'll be honest - the pace here is intense. We're growing fast, which is exciting, but it also means you need to be comfortable with change and ambiguity. There are times when client demands and internal goals can feel overwhelming, especially during peak periods. If you're someone who needs highly structured processes and predictability, the fast-moving nature of this agency might be challenging. That said, if you thrive in dynamic environments and can roll with the punches, you'll love it here.
