Pros
DigiDems treats its employees very well. Good pay, good training, great management. My Director (immediate supervisor) was really good. Management has a focus on training and supporting people in the field rather than cracking the whip. They always keep it really positive.
Cons
Temporary with the political campaign season (although they did hire a few people for one-year positions after election day, and they tried to help place people). No benefits. Long hours. Your actual experience on the job will depend more on the campaign that you're assigned than on DigiDems' great management. Many campaigns don't devote enough resources to tech, so you may not have much chance to use your skills. DigiDems makes no effort to match Organizers to campaigns by geographical proximity. It's pretty likely that you'll be sent to a campaign on the other side of the country.
