The legacy culture was built around a lot of entitlement. The acquisitions and mergers that were done throughout the history of the org were not done the best. Because of this there are so many system and process issues that were treated differently depending on the company you came from. And as you can imagine that causes a lot of disruption when you attempt to finally bring it all together. It's honestly been painful. But there has been great progress made in some areas and it's what makes it all worth it. The entitled culture that DigiCert was and still kind of is (as you can see from the petty and tactless reviews calling out leaders by name) is what will keep the morale down and make the business suffer. There's a lot of chaos at times and still a lot of working reactively but I've learned it comes with the territory of working at a company undergoing massive transformation.
