Pros
Decent office with easy access to public transportation. Nice facilities such as a bar, fitness, parking space.
Cons
Taking 20-yo technology and repeatedly calling it "cutting edge" doesn't necessarily make that a true statement. Year over year cost cutting in everything except for sales and marketing related is demotivating. Setting up global teams and then enforcing a near-total travel and expense ban doesn't do much for team spirit. Budget for IT projects is non-existing to the point the company regards doing thing in Excel "automation". Attitude towards employees in general is very sad and deplorable. The turnover in just a few years is horrendous - people keep running away the moment they get a better understanding of how the company works internally. Protecting bonuses for management is the leading motivator and nothing else matters. Employees get one single ethics training a year, online. Once they sign off they're good for another year. When market companies are caught red-handed, any wrongdoing is covered up and kept from everyone. HR has forgotten the word "Human" and is rather a PR engine bringing in all kinds of models and fads multiple times a year. Last years' expensive trademarked soft skills methodology is brought in as the next biggest invention...and quickly forgotten after. Responsible drinking is what the company propagates outward but behind the scenes marketing and sales figures drive everything. The products themselves are almost invariable made by combining chemical additives and flavorings into industrial-grade ethanol. "New" products everyone gets all excited about are actually old liquids in new bottles or packaging.
