Pros
I started with Di-corp in 2013, I was hired as a control room operator for the Sand Transload division. My Job consisted of Loading trucks and dealing with customers. Within a couple of years of hard work, I was promoted to Terminal supervisor. Where I am responsible for all the in-house training from Control systems for loading/unloading trucks and railcars, and operating rail car movers and locomotives. In the 9 years I have been with the company I have seen some amazing things, I have seen a company that cares about its people, and sticks with them in tough times, when other companies might have gone other routes to stay profitable during the recessions. Di-Corp kept everyone whole and working through these tough times, knowing the value of the people in the company. When times are good, and profits are up, they share that with the company across the board, making sure everyone knows that they are appreciated for all their hard work. Its hard to find a company like this, that cares about their employees as much as they do, and it shows with people that have been with the company 10, 15, 25+ years. In short, the time I have been with the company has been great and I look forward to many more years to come!
Cons
Depending on what department your working in, It may be hard to move up the ladder as people love the job and Stick around.
