Pros

lots of talented fabricators and engineers, plenty of strange personalities. Get to work on very large scale projects.

Cons

Complete and utter disregard for the employees. Its expected you work overtime, come in on the weekends, your denied any raise if you don't make DCL your life. Total lack of project organization from the get go. A frustrating combination of short term and long term projects that wind up constantly distracting. Small company that grew too quickly without the infrastructure and protocols needed scale correctly. The majority of the work falls on a select few very stressed individuals.

Pros

Employees are wonderful. Lenient on personal time needed. Management seems to care if there's a concern for safety, any conflict, etc. Great place to learn a skill, if they decide they want you to learn it.

Cons

Expect to lose money working there, selective raises given. There are folks who have been working there for over 15 years and have "capped out" on pay, which isn't much. Facilities are too small and outdated for projects coming in, which are growing exponentially (which also speaks for how the wealth is spread throughout the company, or rather, not spread). Blunders abound on timelines and thinking processes through, making it harder on workers to actually achieve the goals that the client sees in their head, and often leading to last minute decisions, late work, and longer days.

Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the people you worked with as we genuinely try hard to cultivate a positive company culture. We're also thrilled you felt management cares about safety and conflict - both safety and morale are very important to us. We appreciate your notes on areas we can look at.
