I’ve been with Desalitech for six years now and watched as the company grew from a small startup to a global leader in the water industry. The journey has been the most exciting part of my professional career and with anything good, it didn’t come easy. It came through the hard work of a dedicated team of highly motivated professionals in conjunction with great leadership. Desalitech has a culture built on getting out of our comfort zone, trying new things, learning through failure and being accountable for executing our individual plans. If we all meet our individual plans, by definition, the company will meet its plan as well. This culture promotes creativity, dialogue between divisions, complete transparency and accountability for our actions. We win together and we lose together, it’s always done as a team.
Cons
Desalitech has aggressive short and long-term goals and not everyone has been able to handle the challenges associated with that growth. Finding the right people to fully embrace the mission and not just fill a seat is critical to our success. If you’re looking for a comfy job where you can just sit back and relax and coast from Monday to Friday, this is not the place for you. If you’re ready to put in the work and embrace the challenges that come with a growing company, you’ll ultimately reap the greatest rewards.
