Pros
Flexible when planning vacations. There is no PTO so you do not have to request off, you basically just tell them you won’t be at your shift.
Cons
This school year there were no assignments for full-time nurses. Had to reach out multiple times to get an answer from anyone about if I will have a job this year or not. They told me 4 days before school was supposed to start that there are no available positions. This is also a 1099 position. They do not offer health insurance or take out taxes so you have to do that stuff on your own.
