Pros
Colleagues are nice , Good Pension benefits
Cons
If you’re considering working at Dechra Pharmaceuticals, be prepared for a toxic management culture where favouritism and office politics outweigh actual performance. Junior or mid level positions are okay but Mid-senior and Senior management levels have multiple layers of politics, creating a stressful and demotivating work environment. As long as you say "Yes" to every thing things will be fine. The moment you give an opinion which is not what your boss wants to hear then the trouble starts. HR is practically useless—concerns about mistreatment, bullying, or poor leadership are ignored or, worse, lead to retaliation. Employees are expected to tolerate unprofessional behaviour as long as targets are met. There's little opportunity for growth unless you're part of the inner circle, and constructive feedback is dismissed rather than addressed. Work-life balance is decent on paper, but unrealistic expectations and poor management decisions often lead to burnout. If you're looking for a company that values its employees and fosters a healthy workplace culture, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
