Pros
flexible time, friendly culture, international background, good payment rate My typical day at work -I'm a Japanese and work for a bilingual project. My typical day at work is quite flexible. I wake up whenever I want (usually around 11 am since I'm a night owl), get some breakfast, and start working just by hitting the project on my laptop. -Usually, a task takes from 1.5 hr to 3 hr, and I, of course, take some rest when I want. No micromanagement at all; I monitor my time spent by myself and simply can report it later. If there are many tasks available, I work until midnight, but it's not mandatory; I can choose not to work with no internal messages, anytime. The most enjoyable part of the job -Honestly speaking, usually this kind of job doesn't pay a lot, but DA gives a really good rate of payment. It's for sure above average in Japan, double or maybe triple of it. Financial freedom is guaranteed if you have skills. -Additionally, tasks are interesting enough to engage. It's not a boring, simple clicking task.
Cons
no assuarance for the future jobs The hardest part of the job -I don't know the future amount of work at all, so I can't count on it. It's not like a yearly contract, or so, at least for my position, so I have to manage my finances carefully, even if I get a high payment in a month. The next month, there might be no jobs! (although I hope and assume there will be, in this hot AI industry)
