Pros

The best thing about DanceBug was the opportunity to travel a ton. That is great experience on it's own. I like the people I personally really liked the management, they recognize hard work Pay was decent. Per-diem was good. I would happily do work for them in the future as a contractor

Cons

VERY long days Seasonal, little chance of advancing At highest level you work 7 months, so you need work that fits the rest of the year exactly Not a good long term gig Not good pay when you break down hours

Pros

Pay is great, they pay for all travel expenses, and the seeing new cities each weekend is amazing!

Cons

Days are long and dance moms can be annoying

Pros

Sounds Great till you realize shifts are 15-18 hours straight with no lunch break and only a few bathroom breaks if you're a fast runner.

Cons

Really isn't a good job for a real videographer. My experience with DanceBUG was very short and ultimately disappointing. While the company operates in a fast-paced production environment and provides opportunities to work at large-scale events, my assignment lacked clear communication, consistent oversight, and defined accountability among team members. I was terminated after my first assignment based on information that did not accurately reflect my performance. Despite completing my duties professionally and without incident, decisions appeared to be made based on unverified reports rather than a thorough review of the actual work delivered. In a production setting where multiple individuals share responsibility for equipment, media handling, and workflow, accurate documentation, direct communication, and fair evaluation are critical. Unfortunately, those processes did not appear to be in place during my experience. I take pride in my professionalism and reliability and believe organizations benefit from transparent leadership, fact-based decision-making, and proper team coordination.
