Pros
All ideas are welcome, but more importantly they actually want to implement ideas. The engineering team is a small and close knit team of people that really want the company to be the best in the industry. In fact the whole company is fairly small, and everyone gets along. There's still so many technical problems that need to be solved, so I find the work rewarding. Every fall the company goes to Disney World which is a pretty incredible perk.
Cons
Things can be a bit loud at times, so I did have to learn how to adjust to the open floor plan and music. This can be jarring if you're coming from a more corporate culture. That said, once I did adjust I wouldn't want to go back to an office space that didn't feel as alive as this one. Also if you eat too much candy from the candy bar you can sick, but that's on you.
