Pros

Fantastic downtown location with a new building almost completed steps to the lightrail. Complete autonomy to set your own work priorities. Flexible schedule to allow remote work location when needed. The company has a presence in the community with many volunteer opportunities. There are many career development opportunities to take advantage of.

Cons

IT management is not visible or connected. Having complete autonomy is nice, but it also means you are on your own to remove any obstacles you may face. Feedback and one on one with immediate manager is almost zero. This makes it very hard to improve and drive change. Zero team building events in the time I have been here in IT. However, if you are in HR, corp finance, marketing, etc there are many team building events and outings. The company just started a 401k this year with a very low match that you only get at the end of the year. If you leave prior to the end of the year you do not get the match contribution and you do not get the benefit of compounding interest throughout the year.

Pros

Depending on location and your clinic, leadership team is incredibly supportive, which keeps the day-to-day work environment relatively stress-free. Having the independence to manage your own scheduling also allows for an excellent work-life balance.

Cons

The initial onboarding and training programs are highly disorganized and lack substance. Additionally, standard pay raises are quite low and do not feel competitive relative to the workload and current market value.
