Pros
- surrounded by ivy league trust fund coworkers who will make sure to let you know they went to Harvard - great open space work environment that ensures that when you're working till 8-9pm each night, everyone sees you (because they're there too) - lots of natural light to wake you up in the morning and remind you of what you're missing in the outside world when the sun goes down at night - consistent feedback, reviews, and raises (oh wait, that's not true). - constantly challenging work because they don't hire enough people to spread the work around; instead they expect their workers to put in 12+ hours days
Cons
- Oh, you didn't go to Harvard? Or Yale? How did you get an interview? - Low base salary; no bonus; no overtime - Prepare to you give up your weekends to get projects done. Terrible work-life balance.
