Pros
There really isn't any pros to working at DTSL
Cons
- Pay is terrible
- Pay is monthly
- Processes are not efficient
- You frequently get 4-5 people telling you off for the same mistake. Even though you were never shown or taught the process and it might be something simple like forgetting a tick box. They frequently name and shame in company wide emails staff that have messed up.
- For a company that requires their staff to travel they really don't look after their staff in terms of paying for their travel in a timely fashion. You end up carrying the costs of business travel for quite a while.
- Management heavy organization, too many cooks, too many people who like to puff their chest out.
- Micromanaging is the norm.
- Don't expect lunch breaks, You either have to fight for them or just go AWOL and take one and ignore your phone.
- Work phone is required to be on at all times, even when not working or oncall.
- Management often say one thing and then expect another. Keep good meeting notes or record meetings.
- The company will frequently cancel or reschedule jobs in order to complete jobs for other more preferred customers.
