Pros

Salaries are ok, consider the current situation worldwide.

Cons

A word of advice regarding DTS. At the end of last year I got a job offer from DTS for their branch in Athens. This implied leaving a 7-year career in the IT company I was working for, relocating, and going through a 4-month training period in Herford, Germany. The company seemed serious and showed a great interest in my skills so I decided to take the opportunity as it seemed as a step forward in my professional life. Once I joined, I realized day by day how disorganized the company really was, from little details in their logistics and inflexibility towards change, to actual gaps in their training procedures and tasks. The general plan for us newcomers existed as a theory only. By mid-March, three months after training had started, due to back luck or timing, with the COVID-19 pandemic exploding badly in Europe, the trainees were flown to their final destination back to Athens. Not exactly a good move to put people in planes during a pandemic, but it was the best option at the time since they had us in a different country without medical insurance. I was asked to take the laptop and other equipment so I could work remotely during quarantine, only to be surprised with the news, two days after my arrival, that my contract had been terminated effective immediately. No prior notice, no reason provided, no performance analysis feedback from my supervisor/colleagues about me. Absolutely no responsibility from the company for leaving me without a job, financial stability, or any sense of security during such a hard time in the face of what will most likely be a very tough year with the financial crisis to come after the pandemic. DTS showed me a complete lack of professionalism and basic human empathy. From the CEO down to their incompetent HRHR who didn't even replied to basic email requests.

Dear former colleague, Thanks a lot for this feedback. Especially your explanations are very valuable for us. As you have already pointed out with some points, there is always a need for optimization. That's why we are constantly trying to work on it and improve. This also includes our benefits, because we believe that our employees make the company what it is. We wish you all the best for the future! Your DTS Team

Pros

- Work life balance is ok at the moment of writing (April 2026). My forecast is that this will deteriorate. - Company provides extra vacation days and a monthly fee in ticket restaurant card at the moment of writing. My forecast is that those will be removed. - Would recommend only for people starting their career.

Cons

- Conditions in the company are deteriorating fast with no foreseeable trend to improve in the future. Main reason for this is bad management decisions leading to people fleeing for other companies or even being fired. - Management is lacking vision and knowledge on how to improve their workflow. They make uninformed decisions that they do not share with their teams, nor give them the time to prepare for the goals they want to achieve. This leads to chaos across teams, where people apply random ideas trying to implement what was asked of them. - Completely, utterly unorganized. No planning whatsoever. Cannot stress this enough. You are simply thrown into the sea and expected to provide results. Whether you have the skills or not for the task you are assigned, does not really matter. - In my experience, the requirement to go for training in their premises was a bad one. Other than the vendor provided trainings, there was no other help or training provided to me. So, I fail to see the reasoning behind the requirement. This can very well be achieved anywhere else. - Not a good option for established, experienced professionals. There are no real options available to evolve in the company unless the CEO likes you. Don't expect the CEO to like you on the basis of the quality of your work. Good old flattery and PR tactics is you best chance. - There is no employee evaluation process in place whatsoever. Your productivity is currently measured solely on the basis of how many tickets you had the chance to grab and on the time you log in them. This creates a negative competition within teams, where everyone only cares to get a case so that they have the chance of logging work time. If there are no tickets in the queue you have to invent “creative” ways of logging work time. If you don’t meet the expectations or don’t want to lie about it, then you get kicked out. No questions asked. - Currently, the threat of being fired is looming over the heads of every technician in the company leading to a toxic, negative environment build-up.
