Pros

DOWC truly lives up to its reputation as a “Family of Companies.” The culture is supportive, collaborative, and focused on growth. I had the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, take ownership of meaningful projects, and gain strong exposure across the business. The leadership team is approachable, supportive, and values employee ideas. When you perform well, your work is recognized, which creates a motivating environment. I gained hands-on experience in financial packages for multiple entities, financial modeling, corporate accounting, month-end close, forecasting, business planning, MBRs/QBRs, operations, A/R, A/P, and strategic planning. This broad exposure helped me build a strong professional foundation. Teamwork is excellent, and colleagues and managers are supportive and collaborative.

Cons

None, only the workload can be demanding during busy periods such as month-end close and major projects. The pace can be fast, requiring adaptability and strong time management.

Pros

Nayeli was very helpful with setting me up with my car rental. I am grateful for purchasing my warranty for my vehicle! Many thanks!

Cons

None that I can think of at this time.

Pros

None; there is no leadership, meetings are scheduled and no one shows up. There is no accountability. There are absolutely no accounting controls in place and the company is resistant to implementing the most basic accounting controls which are standard in every industry.

Cons

Lack of leadership - as has been stated by others people are promoted into senior leadership roles out of nepotism as opposed to skillset and/or experience. Middle management is filled with associates who have no experience, and there is no mentoring, so teams are setup for failure. When an associate sees a problem and escalates it, the company frowns upon them for bringing it up. You are not rewarded instead you become the problem. Gross incompetence exists in the highest levels of management on a foundational level.
