Cons include:
Poor communication and management
Toxic environment from the senior management team - you will be fine if you are in the ‘inner circle’ or if you always say “yes” and pander to senior management team.
Boasts of fantastic company performance, however, this is not reflected in staff wages or bonuses. Members of the senior management team boast about their wealth and how they spend it in company meetings.
Some members of the senior management team do not listen or indeed take on board concerns raised, potential efficiency savings or process improvements.
Senior management team choose when to follow policy, if it is of benefit to them, and when/if to generate a policy if non is in place. There are many policies, which have yet to be written and implemented. This is to allow senior management to do as they wish.
Their external HR Consultant is very much for the company rather than the employee. Concerns with them are not listen to or addressed, instead they suggest that the problem is the one raising the issue.
Senior management are toxic and unprofessional. They like to gossip about staff personal issues, illnesses and why people have left the business. They boast of having mental health first aiders, however, you couldn’t have chosen 2 more inappropriate people for the role!
