Pros
- Office environment: spacious, great ambience, good location in Midtown - People: busy most hours, overall super friendly. The CEO is genuinely interested in the wellbeing of his employees and act on it, which I think is very rare in most companies. - Benefits: medical insurance is great, overtime & PTO are in place. Snacks, Korean ramen of all kinds, coffee, cold beverages are always in the fridge for employees to help themselves. - Global outlook: Regional offices in Seoul, Canada and partners in Europe and Mexico makes the work demanding but exciting. - Products: skincare and cosmetics are great, and all employees get samples of everything new that comes out.(yay!) - Growth: there are efforts being made, post-COVID, for a more structured internal organization, and this is appreciated. Products are diversifying, and I personally love the quality.
Cons
- The main language, except for in weekly meetings and in a few departments, is mostly Korean. If you do not speak the language, you might feel left out at times, but all staff are eager to help with the translation if ever you ask. - There is no WFH culture - however, as mentioned in the Pros, the office environment is great. - Everyone is mostly always busy.
