Been with the bank for 5 years and culture has changed in the last 1 year. Lots of restructuring, and sometimes you are put into a role entirely different for what you were hired for. While I get that learning is life, expectations are either unclear or your new boss may expect u to"perform" even if the jobscope is new to you. Upper management gets political and certain bosses can create toxic culture - no psychological safety to speak up, gaslighting, and criticising employees as "imcompetent" when he doesn't address issues or barriers from other teams. Almost feels like employee is just a tool to get his job done so he can showcase himself to upper management.
