It's a job, that's about it.

Cons

No transparency. Poor management. Below average pay. Terrible benefits. Always feel like you are looking over your shoulder waiting for the hammer to come down. I have no problem working hard, in fact I thrive on it. However it goes unappreciated. They do not take suggestions from employees and make quick decisions that poorly impact clients and employees. Morale is extremely low and continues to decline. They don't care. The responses from the employer on the negative posts are condescending and just goes to prove the point of the reviewers. Condescending and detached from reality that doesn't have a dollar sign next to it. The company cares more about acquisitions than keeping good talent. Typical corporate. I do not recommend them as an employer.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn of your experience at DAS. We are not perfect, but we truly care about our employees and work hard to make ongoing improvements. The company conducts a monthly employee survey in order to solicit feedback/ comments, and our leadership team meets regularly to review the results; often implementing changes directly as a result. Regarding your feedback on transparency, it is always a goal within leadership to provide open communication throughout the organization. We recognize that we have recently fallen down there with some teams; in the time since this review we have had team meetings specifically to improve communication, explain some recent department changes, and solicit feedback for improvement. We have also increased management training to address some of the areas for improvement, such as providing more effective communication. Employee salary reviews are conducted annually at DAS. As part of that process, we conduct frequent comparisons to ensure that salaries are at the higher end of the current market rate. If someone’s salary is not at the market rate for some reason, they are eligible for larger and more frequent increases to bring them up to market, based on their performance in the role. Benefits are also reviewed annually and are constantly expanding. After receiving employee feedback over the past year, for instance, we recently added such requested benefits as an HSA, legal services, pet insurance, and paid parental leave. It is also not insignificant that during the height of COVID, when many other companies were laying off staff, we did not. Acquisitions are a big part of our company’s growth, and more than half of our employees have joined our “blended family” in this way. While we recognize that integration of company cultures can sometimes be challenging, they also provide employees with substantial growth opportunity. One of our core values is adaptability, and our rapid growth provides ample occasion for employees to shine, demonstrating their adaptability and leadership potential.
