Pros

Cxense is growing into a true, international business in scope and reach. Culture is largely people-centric and truly values employees. HR has recently started to deliver feedback in a more formal, automated practice that is both easy and helpful. Open door policy with senior management is developing well. There is a respectful, friendly, encouraging tone between c-suite and all employees (from the CEO on down). For a young company, Cxense is truly learning from past experiences and works hard to build a collaborative culture. Nice offices across world, especially in Norway, New York and Boston. Lots to do, and many resources with which to do it. There is lots of opportunity in the company to grow. One simply has to step-up and do the work.

Cons

Sometimes a little too European and slow-moving for the global stage. Internally, small, agile teams work really hard to deliver. Sense of urgency is a must for future success and should be managed strongly across all teams.

Pros

The People! The Technology! The Passion. I feel privileged to work with some of the best and brightest in the technology space, knowing I'll be challenged when I come into work everyday. In a highly competitive space, we've really distinguished ourselves by the way our solution was built, and it's something I'm proud of. I love being apart of a global workforce, trading ideas in Tokyo and Oslo-- working to unify and share best practices. We are a quirky but truly smart group of people looking to solve complex problems for our customers, and both put a smile on my face at Cxense.

Cons

We're aligning now on our messaging and vision now, after being founded 7 years ago, which, due to acquisition and pivoting product focus, has made it a challenge to join Cxense and understand exactly not only the "what" for the company, but the "why". Additionally, being global means that some processes that work in the US don't work elsewhere, which can lead to duplication of efforts and inefficiencies. Eager to see us align and get on the same page, especially as we expand this year.
