Pros
Sometimes you make friends with the staff as you all slowly lost your happiness and sanity.
Cons
- Nepotism : Everyone in power is either related to the owner, or a friend of the owner. None of them know how to do their job, or they do it poorly. They all treat you poorly because none of them are scared for their job, and if you try and bring it up, you get lashed at, no surprise. - No Job Security : You will get fired, its not IF you will be fired it is WHEN you will be fired. They will walk in and walk you out and never give you a reason, if it wasn't for the fact that they normally only hire people they can take advantage of or have little experience they would probably have a lot more law suites. if you are fired all they will say is "Its not working out". - Awful Pay : Minimum wage with "Commission". I went from making minimum wage with maybe 200 extra a month from "Commission" to my new position with a competitor telecommunications making about 600 more a cheque with less work and less harassment, - Too High Expectations : They have sales goals that no one ever reaches, and you get constant pressure on everything you do wrong, and they will not praise you for what you are succeeding at. - Ignorant Management : I worked at a store that was understaffed and under trained and instead of support, they just fired everyone and rehire the whole store every few months.
