• Workamajig is not a good platform for completing projects, but it's the one they use now. the teams were confused and frustrated. team members' valid concerns are ignored and they are told "too bad, we are using this."
• the onboarding for new platform was messy and took way too long. some things still had not happened after 6+ months of using the new system, for seemingly no reason. management didn't know how they wanted to use certain features, even after a year of prepping to switch.
• they bragged about large bonuses, but i never got a large one regardless of solid work performance.
• no raise, even for inflation, and regardless of solid work performance.
• they had to lay off groups of people multiple times in my two years there.
• promotions seem to be based on duration of employment and vibes instead of ability or growth. i was told 2-3 years when i started, but when that timeline was up and i asked, they said 2-3 more years and had no plan to get me promoted.
• senior roles were brought in instead of training up junior roles.
• people would complain about how busy they were but would not delegate or accept help. I asked constantly for more work and training, and it rarely ever happened. I ended up doing things that nobody else wanted to do, that were not technically my job, and that did not advance my career just to have something to do.
• would preach accountability but not practice it. some people would just be allowed to not do things properly because that's just so-and-so for ya!
• they did not tell me that there was a budget for the training course i was paying for on my own. i found out there's a budget for that during my exit interview.
