This company has really gone downhill. They care nothing about their employees at all. Since firing the manager who would do the training, now it's up to people in the store to train the newcomers. Associates used to make upwards of 11.00 per hour and now they are making around 8-8.50 per hour. Which is fine or whatever except you get what you pay for. The caliber of workers has definitely gone down and you can tell. Recently they've taken away tip jars which is a major slap in the face to workers that depended on that money. You won't ever get a raise and don't even think about benefits unless you are a store manager. Stores were closed for weeks on end after the hurricane and nothing was done to help the faithful,hardworking employees. Just no pay and no real time table on when you would be going back to work. AWFUL! Management sucks. They make all of these business decisions that don't really help the store and don't worry about the things that they should be. Most of the cupcakes we sell are stale and not fresh. We have to send half the stuff back on a daily basis. Forget about moving up-there is no where to go. Cheap, greedy company that only thinks about themselves. The only reason I haven't found something else is because I plan on leaving the city in March and it just makes since to stay for the next few months.
