Pros

Participating in these twice a day mandatory meetings offers a chance for consistent communication and collaboration, and while the content may be reiterated, it underscores the importance of shared understanding and alignment. The company's strong reputation for competitive salaries, allows employees to negotiate improved terms with their current employers. The company experiences a notably high staff turnover, advantageous for recruiters.

Cons

Management should prioritize merit over favoring sycophancy. Favored individuals receive preferential treatment and support, even extending beyond the workplace, notably when a close family member faces health issues. The favored individual receives time off, creating a disparity. The work culture discourages collaboration. It tends to be a 'my way or the highway' mentality with management. Valuing innovation, there's an opportunity to improve work-life balance. Allowing gym access for all, not just managers, contributes to this. The need for approval for coffee or lunch and disapproval of leaving early, even by 15 minutes, is restrictive. Consideration for flexibility would create a more supportive environment. The insistence frequent video meetings even for work-from-home Fridays, alongside micromanagement and a trust deficit, creates challenges in the work environment. Outdated dress code limits to formal shoes and suits, lacking modern options like trainers seen in other workplaces, except for external meetings where formal shoes are common-sense.
