Pros
The work can be interesting, and staff in the same roles are very supportive of each other.
Cons
There has been a change in Crest over the past year that saddens those of us who have worked there for a while. Several staff members were made redundant at the start of 2025. Whatever the reasons for this, the way it was handled and communicated by SMT caused deep distrust which persists today. A lack of investment in staff morale and retention since then has created a huge divide between junior and senior staff, and a further 10% of the workforce have resigned over the past 9 months, concentrated amongst junior staff. Senior and junior staff seem to have very different perspectives about how the company is doing. Staff feel undervalued, underpaid and not listened to. While there used to be good opportunities for progression, these have been taken away due to company finances.
