Pros
Autonomy is good and they do give you the ability to move around a little laterally. The culture is great and I would have left a long time ago had it not been for the amazing culture. Founders are good people but...
Cons
No raises- you could be doing 3 jobs more than the one you're hired for and work extra long hours (more than is expected of even normal salary jobs and start ups). Forget about a plan- the founders can't agree on anything and it shows in their inability to execute plans thoroughly. which leads to... Hire/fire mentality- they hire before thinking about exactly what they want out of an employee and instead of giving them the proper amount of time to launch and finish a project, they fire. If you're lucky, they'll try to move you around, but because they don't think anything through or have a plan, expect to be fired within months. Many adequate and hard working people were fired both in Oct and March due to mismanagement and irresponsible founders. Some of them long time employees with lots of talent. TLDR; if you're talented, hard working and have other prospects, don't work here. Your time and energy will be wasted for little pay and no thanks. If you don't have the former, this might be a good place to at least get a start and some experience in multiple areas but be careful and have a backup plan.
