Jamie is an excellent leader and mentor. He actively builds the team’s skillset by running workshops and sharing his insights. As Student Investment Partners, we receive a carry allocation in the investments we’re involved in. After 6 years in VC and multiple exits, my cheque from Creator Fund is the first time I got carry! The team at CF is incredible. There is a mix of PhD students across many disciplines with an interest in technology commercialization. As a result, the banter is the best - team outings and team drinks are both fun and informative. Jamie is also very generous with sharing his network and making introductions that can be helpful for career-driven students. I highly recommend the Creator Fund experience.

Just be aware of the level of time commitment you can make during school. There is flexibility but what you can get out of the program is directly proportional to what you can put in.
