Pros
Nothing at all. This job was the worst I have ever had in my entire life.
Cons
My experience at Crane still gives me nightmares, to say the least. The company shows little to no interest in employee growth or adjusting salaries to keep pace with inflation. The role I was assigned had very little resemblance to the job description I was hired under, and the lack of formal training or guidance left me to navigate my responsibilities completely on my own, which was chaotic to say the least. Mistakes or missed deadlines, often due to unclear instructions, were met with criticism from the manager instead of support.
My “manager’s” approach was also particularly problematic, often shifting the blame for their errors onto me, publicly reprimanding me in the process. The high turnover rate is a clear indicator of the widespread dissatisfaction among employees, many of whom left out of frustration during my time there. My advice would be to avoid Crane if possible; the company culture and management practices make it a VERY challenging environment to thrive in - ESPECIALLY for someone looking for their first or second job.
