Pros
Cox has great people that deserve better. Insurance benefits are good and start at day one. you get free and reduced services.
Cons
They no longer care about their employees...just the bottom line, profits in their pockets. I've seen many good people fired and laid off, only to be replaced but contractors and paid call centers. You are never sure if you are calling Cox, Sitel or another call center (rumor is, out of the country call centers also). They have too many clueless managers that know nothing about what is truly going on, but they keep getting promoted. Many of the long timers are let go just short of the retirement requirement. They are let go prior to 20years so they don't have to pay out benefits for life...coincidence, I don't think so.
