Pros
The benefits are outstanding. Medical, dental and vision on day one. They offer 401k, have a gym, shower, cafeteria, beautiful campus. I have never once been verbally abused by upper management. Free cable and internet. Amplifi points to buy nice things. Free popcorn. Free coffee. Lots of events and food (there were blackjack tables in the cafeteria for customer appreciation week and a DJ).
“It’s not about who you know, it’s who knows you” mentality. Hard work is generally rewarded, and if you apply yourself, you’ll move up (that’s what I’ve been told, and I’ve seen people move up).
I love the culture, and most people who work there. Management is not only visible but also easy-going and transparent. You can be in an elevator with a Vice President and they treat you with respect and don’t look down on you.
This is one of the greatest jobs I have ever had.
Cons
Customers can be awful sometimes (that’s anywhere though). Prices are expensive and most customers will say no when you try to up-sell, because they feel that they pay too much.
