Pros

Problem solving skill will improve because you're forced to figure everything out on your own Great place for you if you enjoy flying blind.

Cons

No-shows for important events, and when you offer solutions, they're rejected just because, without explanation (so you just have to deal with the consequences of other people's unprofessional-ism). Clients are promised deliverables you never agreed to, and you're expected to somehow make it happen (which is okay, but you always have to find out from the clients themselves, which makes you seem unprofessional). HR is also your manager, which means no safe space for raising concerns. Loves announcing new partnerships without testing or follow-up, just vibes and blind optimism, confusing everyone by obsessively focused on being the face of pickleball because it's trendy, even at the expense of other areas of the business. Proposed viable ideas but was shut down by manager, was forced to follow his way (because manager is 100% confident that it will work based on their experience). When it failed, the blame was on me, and was told to "be more firm" with my ideas after being previously shut down from them.
