Pros

Work from home, that's all

Cons

Starting pay is around $19/hr and the "bonus" is a misleading tactic to get you to sign on, even if you bust your rear for the entire pay period, you are looking at maybe $40 after taxes. The work is not changing anyone's life. It's borderline a Medicare scam, while legal, its not in the spirit of which CCM was intended to be used. This is 100% an outbound sales call center. There has yet to be an instance arise that made the program necessary when the patient could just call the office or use the portal themselves. The production % is doable but you will be chained to your desk 100% "on" at all times. I feel afraid to take a restroom break because I won't reach the 384 minutes if it's a slow answer day. Management is VERY inexperienced and subjective. There is a severe lack of clarity and communication. I thought I was good to go after NHO but I am learning that I have been severely under-trained in a lot of areas compared with employees that started a few years ago. There is ZERO time to actually review workflows because you will cut in to precious production time, but you get micro-managed if you make 1 small mistake in workflow. Management also doesn't do their job to retain employees well, even items in their actual job description. The actual work is a total bore fest, your spirit will feel crushed. If you are doing well, you never hear feedback but the second you miss 1 "opportunity" you have 3 people jumping down your throat. QA works on calls from MONTHS prior so it's not exactly meaningful information you receive. Also the enrollment calls do NOT prepare patients for what to expect at all and if you want to retain any new patients you have to be either a little shady or use sales techniques, which was never discussed during the interview process. Overall this job is an ok way to make some (little) cash while looking for another opportunity.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. While we’re glad you found value in the ability to work from home, we’re sorry to hear that your experience with other aspects of the role and organization did not meet your expectations. We recognize that the nature of our work—particularly within chronic care management—requires a balance of productivity, compassion, and clarity. Our intention is never to create an environment where employees feel anxious about taking breaks or unclear about expectations. Regarding compensation and bonuses, we strive to be transparent about pay structures and incentive opportunities, and we are reviewing how we communicate these details during the hiring and onboarding process. The goal of our program is to provide real support to patients with chronic conditions—helping bridge gaps in care and improve outcomes. You also raised important concerns about training consistency, workflow clarity, QA timing, and the effectiveness of internal communication. These are all areas where we can—and must—do better. Your suggestions about management communication style and expectation-setting are appreciated and will be shared with our team as we continue to grow and improve. Thank you again for taking the time to share this feedback.

Pros

I have never worked at a company that supports and values work-life balance so highly. Cosan is supportive, encouraging, and flexible, making it easy to want to come and work every day and be your best self. I have reported to a few different managers and helped multiple others and everyone from leadership to my peers is wonderful, supportive and genuinely caring. I love my job and the work that we do, and the company is true to its mission.

Cons

I wish the pay range was better and that there were opportunities for specific, incentivized monthly or quarterly bonuses.

Pros

Real autonomy and impact — At Cosán, you’re not just a cog in a massive machine. Because the company is still growing and evolving in a fast-moving healthcare/tech space, there is plenty of room to chart your own course, shape projects, and see direct impact on patients and clients. Meaningful mission + innovation-driven work — The company’s focus on preventative care, remote monitoring, chronic care management, behavioral health integration and care-coordination (with AI-enabled tools, real-time analytics, and “human-led, tech-enabled” care teams) means your work feels purpose-driven — you’re helping older adults, underserved groups, and patients with chronic conditions get better, more humane care. Opportunity to grow with a rising company — Since Cosán was founded in 2015 and is still relatively young and expanding, there’s opportunity for career growth, for shaping company culture, and for taking on responsibility earlier than you might at a big legacy organization. The “startup-ish” growth phase can mean new roles, evolving functions, and the chance to build something rather than just maintain.

Cons

-Work can be complex, heavy, and high-stakes. -Significant compliance and security burden -Fast paced environment leads to some work-life balance challenges
