Starting pay is around $19/hr and the "bonus" is a misleading tactic to get you to sign on, even if you bust your rear for the entire pay period, you are looking at maybe $40 after taxes. The work is not changing anyone's life. It's borderline a Medicare scam, while legal, its not in the spirit of which CCM was intended to be used. This is 100% an outbound sales call center. There has yet to be an instance arise that made the program necessary when the patient could just call the office or use the portal themselves. The production % is doable but you will be chained to your desk 100% "on" at all times. I feel afraid to take a restroom break because I won't reach the 384 minutes if it's a slow answer day. Management is VERY inexperienced and subjective. There is a severe lack of clarity and communication. I thought I was good to go after NHO but I am learning that I have been severely under-trained in a lot of areas compared with employees that started a few years ago. There is ZERO time to actually review workflows because you will cut in to precious production time, but you get micro-managed if you make 1 small mistake in workflow. Management also doesn't do their job to retain employees well, even items in their actual job description. The actual work is a total bore fest, your spirit will feel crushed. If you are doing well, you never hear feedback but the second you miss 1 "opportunity" you have 3 people jumping down your throat. QA works on calls from MONTHS prior so it's not exactly meaningful information you receive. Also the enrollment calls do NOT prepare patients for what to expect at all and if you want to retain any new patients you have to be either a little shady or use sales techniques, which was never discussed during the interview process.
Overall this job is an ok way to make some (little) cash while looking for another opportunity.
