Pros

Some nice and genuine people (<5%).

Cons

(Formerly Cambridge Global Payments. Merged under Corpay) Poor working conditions. No investment in staff or equipment. 8 hour + cold calling per day. Huge reliance on bonuses fosters low spirit of collaboration and high levels of mistrust. Outdated telephone sales strategy (is this even legal?). Very low (unliveable?) starting salary c. £25k for graduates. Fear culture, low levels of professionalism, low growth prospects. No DEI, fights on the floor, toxic culture.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We truly value your feedback and use it to identify areas where we can improve. We recognize that your time at Corpay did not reflect the kind of experience we strive to provide. You’ve identified important areas—support, structure, and a collaborative culture—where we need to improve. The challenges you faced, including outdated equipment, compensation concerns, and a workplace culture that falls below our standards, are unacceptable. We take your concerns seriously. Our leadership team is actively addressing the need for greater investment in our people and tools. We’re also working to modernize our sales approach and reduce the pressure created by individual commission-heavy structures. In particular, we’re reviewing how we onboard, develop, and compensate early-career professionals to ensure they receive the support they deserve. You also raised important points about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. While we’ve started taking steps to improve in this area, we acknowledge that we still have work to do. We’re committed to building an inclusive and professional environment, and to addressing misconduct promptly and transparently. We appreciate your thoughtful suggestions, including vertical team structures, expanded cross-selling strategies, and tiered bonus systems. These ideas align with several internal conversations already underway. Thank you again for your honesty and the work you contributed during your time at Corpay. We wish you the very best in your future endeavors.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for your contributions at Corpay. We appreciate your recognition of the strong work-life balance and management support you experienced. It is valuable to know that aspects of your time here were positive and well-supported. At the same time, we understand how deeply that experience can change when repeated layoffs begin to affect not only teams, but also the leaders and managers employees rely on most. When layoffs feel widespread and disconnected from performance or productivity, it can create a strong sense of instability and uncertainty for everyone who remains. Employees want to believe that hard work, consistency, and contribution matter, and when that connection feels unclear, it can seriously impact morale, trust, and long-term confidence in the organization. Your feedback highlights the significant impact leadership decisions have on the employee experience. Even with a strong team culture, workforce reductions can overshadow daily positives and leave employees feeling unsettled or undervalued. The loss of trusted colleagues can make it challenging to maintain engagement, support, and balance. Thank you for sharing your perspective and advice. Your feedback underscores the importance of employees feeling heard and respected during major decisions. It also reminds leadership to listen closely to those closest to the work and culture.
